  Well as a mother of a S.T.A.R.S. and as one of the families that went on the missions trip to LA. It was a real eye opener for us in a good way because we meet with Karen from the Hollywood Prayer Network and her explanation of the mission field in LA really removed the veil from our eyes and why it is so very important not just think of it as a calling to be an example but to immerse yourself in the culture of LA so that you can learn their ways but to guard your heart and mind so that you serve the Lord's purpose for you being there. If your heart and mind are not on the Lord's purpose it is very easy to be swayed into the worldly purpose because the devil definently has a stronghold there in the glitz and glamour and not everyone is strong enough spiritually or emotionally to handle that. It was a reality check also being there and participating in the Prayer Walks on some of the biggest and most important Studio Lots in LA because there were employees that were risking their jobs by participating in these with us and that they have actually been able to implement Bible studies and clubs if you will on the campuses was mind blowing. It again gave you a slight glimpse of what other missionaries go through in countries that dont allow Christian beliefs. We were able to pray over the whole city by the HOLLYWOOD sign. The kids were able to be extras on a movie set and all the big stars (kids & adults) really noticed something different about our kids and they were actually drawn to them and just enjoyed them. It was almost like the other actors could not help themselves but to like the kids even if they tried not too. Met some amazing Christians that are working in the Industry and are highly respected for their integrity and honesty and all around genuine personality which I think speaks volumes and volumes in LA more so than someone witnessing in words or street preaching because they see all kinds of street performances and hear all kinds of flowery words there, I believe that is one place in this world that your actions do speak louder than words. We are grateful for the opportunities that S.T.A.R.S. Missions International has presented us and this trip was a real chance to "see" what the purpose of Spirit-led Teen Artist Reaching for Success means and why it is so important to take it International because of the influence that one zip code (90028) has on the rest of the WORLD! even in the plains and deserts. Please look at this Ministry as much for it missions statement as you do for it importance in can play in the Will of God to take back His people and His land. Please pray for the ministy as well as each of the children that are involved in this ministry. Thank you
